Benefits of Teak Garden Furniture

Teak is strong. It is naturally oily, which makes it a very good material make outside furniture from. We say that it is very durable material.

The strength and durability of teak wood enables it to be left outside without treatment throughout the year. We would however point out that the timber will mature and fade into a light silvery grey colour over time.

Our Commitment

All our teak wood is harvested from government controlled plantations which will benefit from further harvesting of teak trees. This is a long term commitment.

About Teak Timber

The teak timber comes from young trees grown in sustainable forests. Kiln drying allows for sustainable, plantation-grown teak to perform nearly on par with old-growth teak, and as such reduces the impact on the environment.
